Two frontier travellers hide in moonlit ferns as a shadowy figure looms in the distance.

Devil Water

Supernatural Western Feature

Logline

A travelling medicine salesman arrives in a frontier town where greed, fear and something unnatural are closing in.

Synopsis

Devil Water brings supernatural horror and dark humour to the Western: dusty streets, desperate fortunes and a stranger who is a long way from being a hero. As unease settles over a frontier town, survival will demand more than a quick tongue and a bottle of miracle cure.

Written as a traditional Western, the project also has a New Zealand adaptation set against the goldfields of 19th-century Otago.
